If we could have just scored more runs than App. State I really feel we could have won this game. I really didn't see those homeruns coming....the baseball gods just don't like us right now...we are definitely in a funk.

You just can't predict when a team flat out gets more runs than you do. How can any coach look for that? Besides, I thought it was a kind of an unwritten rule to play "small ball" this year. It wasn't fair for Appy St. to hit them totally out of reach. Who could ever guess a team could score runs like that-with homers? I did not see that coming. Who knew?
