Tennessee Volunteers Baseball Merchandise Thread (Including Player NIL Products & Events) & Link to the Volnation Store(Post #1)

Where did you get the info that the Vols have no plans of wearing a the new creams?
I recall reading that the team didn‘t like how some of the jerseys turned out and they weren’t going to wear them. Based on the fact they’ve worn the new whites, new pins, new orange, but not the new creams, I’d agree that the new creams won’t be worn. I’ve seen all the new ones at the Vol Shop, and agree that the new creams are poorly designed.
The Sunday creams that they wore on Sunday are fire IMHO. I think they are last year’s jersey with new pants that have an orange stripe. 🍊🍊👍👍👊👊😀😀🍊🍊

Supposedly, they didn’t like the new pullover orange ones either (they have been wearing the button up orange ones from last year). This guy on Twitter shared blurbs about the team not liking the way they turned out. Discussion in the comments on the cream post about not liking the new ones and the cream hats that were supposed to go with them never arriving. Don’t know how reliable this guy is but they haven’t been wearing them so…..

I hope this guy is right.

Both those jerseys are very good looking and would immediately be associated, even at a glacé, with the Tennessee brand.

These should be, like Dodger gray or Yankee pinstripes, part of the closet for a long, long time.

Yes, you're right. I think the new orange pullovers look and feel really cheap. Last Year’s Orange are sweet! This guy is legit and has a passion for uniforms and has designed some “prototypes”. Most importantly, I’m glad the team is holding Nike to high standards. A couple of the new ones aren‘t worthy of ever representing UT IMHO.

With all of the complaints about the "vintage" Vols script jerseys not breathing as well as the other dri-fit Nike stuff, maybe the team is appreciating the extra warmth during these cold weather games, lol

Fields knows his stuff but he gets extremely butt hurt at times about stuff. He's been salty about this run of uniforms for a while, but I think I saw Brian Rice in the comments half heartedly verifying it.

To me, I honestly still wouldn't be shocked if the newer designs show up once the warmer weather gets here. Several of them look like they're made off the template last year's black jersey was made from.

Supposedly there's still an issue with fabric type, but who knows.

Ultimately, they keep winning in something, not much will change. They hit a rough patch, watch how quick something new comes out...
