Tennessee Volunteers vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs Game Thread

So does Golden get the final shot if we're down 1 against KY or is that experiment over? Honest Question.

LET STOKES DO IT.Isn't golden0-2 having the ball at end

Golden is 0-2 years when handling the ball in clutch situations. I would have never let him handle the ball there. He has proven over and over he is horrible agaist pressure. just look at the last 2 minutes of the game. He bounced the ball it off every part of his body on the previous two possessions to the last one.

I couldn't be more proud of the way the Vols battled back tonight. There were several times in the second half when there was a 9 or ten point gap that we could have rolled over. Players stepped up when Maymon picked ups his fourth foul and we almost pulled out a big road win.

Yes, Golden threw away the one fast break and obviously dribbled the ball off of his foot to end the game but he kept us in that ball game with his great shooting tonight.

This is a different team than we saw lose to Austin Peay. It seems like we are bringing more intensity, especially on the defensive side. Hopefully this loss doesn't discourage them and our boys battle hard against Kentucky on Saturday.

I think you are too quick to assume that Golden was going to take the last shot. Still plenty of time left on the clock. Potential pick and roll or something definitely was likely in the cards. And despite past experiences in end of game situations I still think he has to be the go to guy as far as generating the offense is concerned
