Tennessee Volunteers vs. South Carolina Game Thread (7 PM ET - ESPN3.com)

I disagree that it's absurd, and it's not an excuse, it's a reason. The best players get past the mental block. Cam is mental right now. If your mind is questioning you as you step to the line, you are toast. Your mind doesn't question your shot when it's desperation time and I think SC hitting a few 3's at the end last night and against GA proves my point again. If you disagree, at least come with something better than 'sorry shooters'. Cam was 75% two weeks ago. He's @ 20% since. What's your insight?

My mind is questioning whether you like to throw a bunch of words together and see what sticks.

Instead of giving a smartass comment, tell me why 3's go in left and rt at the end of a game when a team is in desperation mode, but the same guy can't know down a set shot ft? Either that or ignore and move on because you have nothing to bring to the topic. You don't think Cam was trying too hard to make those ft's that he was clanking? You don't think he was thinking 'I gotta make these'. You think he was relaxed? Good grief man, at least act like you've been on the court before.

Now you've made yourself look silly.

After the game, CBPearl was going through the line shaking hands with the SC team and then hugged one of their guys like he knew him. Anyone know the story there? (Or was he just suddenly in the mood for a hug?)

It's ridiculous to pretend that threes go in with any more regularity at the end than at the beginning.

The only reason they might in some cases is because the defense loses its mind in time compressed situations and leaves shooters open more often than in ordinary sets.

good grief. Not this line again.

You don't think Shaq's career long free throw ineptitude was caused by brilliance?

His form as atrocious.

You know not of what you speak.

Hey, he's walked a mile in the moccasins. He is the only one who has ever walked in moccasins.

Couple a guy who isn't a particularly good jump shooter with a body type that makes the exercise the equivalent of me shooting a ping pong ball into a coffee cup from 15 feet and you come to the obvious conclusion that Kazaam has been thinking too much.

That's pretty funny. I've always been amazed how small he makes the basketball look... it almost looks like me at 6' ft holding one of those mini-balls.
