According to Vitello's postgame interview it happened after Neely was struck in the ankle with the ball. Apparently one of Miss St's players made some comments while Neely was on the ground. Coach Anderson heard this and made comments toward Miss St's dugout. Vitello said their coach said he would take care of it (his players). After checking on Neely and heading back to the dugout, Coach Anderson had a heated exchange with the ump who Vitello said had a quick hook.

I would lean that way, Crochet is a weapon out of the pen.

Agreed, he can go short or long but coach should have brought him in two batters earlier in Friday to seal the deal. Oh well it’s easy from where I sit!!

He asked the ump if he watched the English Premier League this morning and blue said soccer was not a real sport. Coach Anderson took exception to that statement and was thrown out.
