They showed it Tuesday night and I watched it. Man that was the good ol days when we actually had a QB who could make any pass on the field. Man Peyton was awesome simply put he is the G.O.A.T. GO VOLS!

lol, shame how much the 3 min intro spits stats & such about how much of a lock he was for the heisman

I've seen the replay of this one before. Keep in mind that this game was played two weeks before the end of the regular season and the announcers considered him a shoo-in. I think there's a point during the game when the talk about other possibilities and they don't even mention Charles Woodson.

I was 4 when this game happened.... stunned at how we didn't win a national title.. we were loaded allll over the field.

I like to think the returning players used the Nebraska beatdown as motivation in 98.

We weren't ready for that game.

Peyton got that dubya tho, then went home to his SB ring, SB MVP, 4 league MVPs , and his mansion too. But he got the W Monday.

Just got finished watching 1997 TN at Arkansas, Jamal Lewis, Marcus Nash, Leonard Little, Shawn Bryson, Raynoch Thompson, Stearns Fumblelisious. Love him. Manning as a receiver for a 1000 yards. Cutcliffe was good. And Jamal was a beast (120 yds as a freshman) Lot of fun. Fulmer was a beast. TN 30 AK 22.
