We are paying half as much for a women’s basketball coach as the top programs. But I do think we need to start spending more in baseball with Vitello as coach. He has proven he can get succeed. Give him and his staff a raise first. UT has shown they won’t invest in people until Phil became AD. That’s first priority.

Given her history/record, I would suggest we're overpaying for her services...and her husband. That's neither here nor there I suppose, but you're absolutely right. UT needs to really start investing in baseball. It's almost an after thought if it's even considered at all. SEC baseball is big. I just don't understand why they ignore baseball like they do. No, not rhetorical at all. I know it's not an income source right now. I know they don't even award full scholarships due to freaking title IX, but damn...do something about the mausoleum we currently play in. It really is sad if not out and out embarrassing.
