I was thinking once he started getting playing time last year he was on fire right away, so he had to stay in the lineup.

But one cannot trust my short term memory.

Chase must have eaten a whole box of power bars in the dugout between innings....Sitting at 35 pitches...so they aren't roughing him up at all. :)
