Tennessee vs Kentucky Game Thread - 9:00 EST - ESPN

The Kansas game might as well have been by a different team. It was a different lineup and a different attitude with only six scholarship players and their backs to the wall. At home... So far, on the road, the Vols have proven nothing. A bad beatdown by Georgia and a blowout loss to Vandy. Add in two wins that were in doubt against Alabama and LSU and would you really expect this result as an outside observer? Respect is earned. Plenty of average teams knock off better teams. UT has to prove that wasn't a fluke. I did not expect this game to even be coimpetitive after watching these guys on the road.

Look, I understand all that, I'm just saying Schulman makes it as if we were a high school team with all his can you believe it talk.

The only thing Cal does to coach is say "dribble drive!" I expect KY to drive to the rim in the first 3 min of the half.

I'm trying to figure out why Pearl can't get them ready for every game like he did this one and the Kansas game.

Didn't they say a technical had been given to Cousins? Put B Williams in there with the goal to just make Cousins mad and get another T

That foul on Chism was a terrible call. I hope he is okay. A call like that in a close game could be a game-changer. Terrible, terrible call.

I'm already getting nervous about the second half. Hopson only has 4 pts. He is clutch at times, but right now he needs to come out and be on fire.

I would like to know the answer to this myself. Tennessee is as inconsistent a team as I have ever seen.

Might have to switch up Defenses every now and then. They totally expect us to be in the zone again. Might try to mix it up with different zones?
