Tennessee vs Kentucky Game Thread - 9:00 EST - ESPN

We played well for 35 minutes. Im sick of Dick V talking about Tyler Smith and then talking about how great John Wall is for making an easy outlet pass for a dunk.
Officiating was horrible but UK is definitely the best team in the SEC. I have a feeling that there will be several coaches that play a 2-3 zone on UK this year. Also, despite the fact that he didn't score a lot or hit his free throws, Cousins will be a better pro player than Wall. He is absolutely HUGE and athletic.

I agree!! Bottom line..You have to out play the officiating and we're not good enought at 2/3 to overcome that.

Also, Hopson is an utter dissappointment! He contributed NOTHING for us..no offense and no defense...PATHETIC!!!! Scotty could've stepped up late in the second half but is so soft!

Overall, I'm proud of the effort minus going to sleep the last 5 minutes.

Like I said Boutrous, Boutrous, Boutrous Volie...make your own judgments. It wasn't the refs. Kentucky is just a better team.

I agree 100% with that last statement.

If (most of) what they have now stays together to actually work on being a team even one more year....that's scary. Most all of us think they'll lose a couple to the NBA-what if they stayed?!

Totally agree, but its just more satisfying to blame the refs, helps me sleep better.

This is probably not the best forum to post this but, I'm going to listen to Illinois by Sufjan Stevens right now to help me assuage my pain after this loss. If any of you like true "indie rock", I'm pretty sure it will vault into your Top Ten favorite albums of all time....

They would be maybe the best team in the last 10 years at least, IMO.

Just my opinion, I say UT goes no lower than 20. Tough game tonight. Those 3's at the end sort of sealed the fate of the game. I thought it was a great effort. I don't have anything bad to say about the coaching or any of our players. I'll leave that to somebody else. The 11 point win on the books don't show what really happened. A #2 team loaded with talent escaping with a win at home over a #12 team with some problems. When working in Rupp Arena, do they call the officials Rupperees?
