The ones that matter like White and Slaton did. If he can get that type of combo at Michigan, their offense will be able to score enough to win every game in the Big 10. Devine is also a stud.
White looks like he will never be more than a Wildcat QB and Slaton is having one helluva sophomore slump.
Let's wait and see on those two.
I remember seeing that White looked like the best quarterback at the combine. Couldn't be any worse than Stafford has been.
Has Steve Slaton been playing injured? For some reason I thought he was.
Anyways... I didn't think the statement was about producing good NFL players. Just NFL players in general. Either way, White and Slaton on any given day could torch anyone in college football. If Rich Rod gets two players like that again, they will eat the Big 10 alive. Big 10 right now isn't any better than the Big East was when Slaton and White were there. The Big East then was probably actually better than the Big 10 now... maybe lol.
Not possible. It was Freeman that everyone was drooling over anyway.
Agree to disagree then because you must have read something else.
Pat White impressed, Mark Sanchez did not at NFL combine - Don Banks - SI.com
My point was that for all of the hype Rich Rod got, he never won anything of note (besides a barnburner of a Sugar Bowl against a slightly overrated UGA team) and his players haven't done much at the next level...further proving that the spread is a much less viable offense to use with the recruiting tool of "I will make you a boatload of money in the NFL". Which is what Kiffin can promise.
Not much of an opinion because one has gotten a bit more snaps than the other. Many NFL teams wanted him as a WR, if that tells you anything.
-- Kansas State quarterback Josh Freeman was thought to be someone who could really improve his draft projection based on his throwing session, but he was erratic in the drills and probably did nothing to help himself crack the first round.
