Why doesn't Florida play anyone before January outside of their yearly beating from OSU? They never play any marquee early season tourneys.

Their football team hasn't ventured west of the Mississippi for a non-conference game since like 1971 or something. In general, they prefer to stay on the porch versus running with the big dawgs

They haven't played an out of conference regular season game outside the state of Fla since 1991. They went to Syracuse and lost.
