OMG:
My brother is West Point, '76. I was in NYC at the time, and visited him several times. They were still studying Jackson's infantry tactics when he was a cadet. Jackson's "Foot Cavalry" marched 50 minutes, then rested 10. They were fresh and ready to fight when they reached the front, unlike their enemy who had been marched without rest. Jackson's tent, field desk, etc was in the lobby of the library at West Point.

PS: Little Sorrel is in the basement of the VMI chapel.

For you victims of modern historical instruction, "Little Sorrel" was Jackson's horse which he rode in every campaign except First Manassas (Bull Run.)

The VMI Chapel basement is a museum. One room is nothing but medals won and donated by VMI grads. There were several MOH. IIRC, Jackson was Professor of Artillery tactics at VMI.
Marse Robert is buried down the street in the chapel of Washington and Lee.
