In its infinite wisdom, the Army closed the Armor School at Ft. Knox in 2010 and moved it and the collection of the Patton Museum to Ft. Benning. They have combined the Patton Museum tanks with the huge collection that had previously been at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Unfortunately, the new museum is closed to the public except on special occasions or by appointment. However, plans are underway to create a separate entrance for the museum at some point in the near future.

Nichols Moran (AKA The Chieftain) has posted videos of the collection and the curator Rob Cogan is very active on social media.

Sitting in a very cold deer stand reading your latest literary masterpiece. The "rather sit naked on an anthill" line nearly caused me to fall out of the tree laughing. Sadly this great season has passed all to quickly and the long months between the bowl game and first game of '23 will seem like forever. Looking forward to your bowl game history lesson.
