UT got turned down more times than me at the club last friday night.

And both UT and yourself were after men.

Answer...see our last three years record. The school, tradition, the fans and Neyland are Top Notch. Cannot be said of the program itself.

Probably not. One could certainly say that Western Kentucky and Arkansas made better hires than we did.

No if we were going to have to settle for a coach that wasn't among our top choices (I'm assuming) then why the hurry after strong turned us down? Why not look through the NFL ranks? Why not try to get a defensive minded coach?

NFL ranks? The Charlie weis experiment on college has sure worked out well, hasn't it? I'd rather have a guy like butch who has won at a previous job in college over a coordinator in the nfl.
