Keon is our defensive stopper, already, imo. So, I think he picks Wright up at halfcourt and uses his length to pressure him, all night long, unless he can't stay in front of him and gets in early foul trouble. But, I think Keon can and will shut him downColorado's best chance of winning is with their PG Wright having a big game. It'll be interesting to see who we put on him. #41 can absolutely shoot it and handles the rock pretty impressively for his size. The rest of the team is kinda lacking in talent, but they're all aggressive/ hardworking players. They bring it every play.
I 100% wouldn't be surprised if we lose this game. Might take us till conference play for us to fully gel.
As been discussed before, we only lost one senior and had a transfer practicing with us all last season. We’ve got the returning defensive POY and a legit contender for SEC POY with both being seniors. Our 2 returning sophomores should be improved. 2 of our freshmen are high ranked 5*’s who have been getting high praise from CRB who doesn’t throw it around everywhere. Throw in a grad transfer rebounder and VBJ. Everyone can down play this team all they want but we’re loaded. Why?
Yeah, but you act like we have all these returning players from a 30 win team. We were average at best last year. We will be a good team but how good remains to be seen.As been discussed before, we only lost one senior and had a transfer practicing with us all last season. It’s college basketball and anyone can lose on a given night, but I haven’t felt this good to start a season in CRB’s time on the hill. Again, JMO
Maybe the season record was average, but if you look deeper in light of losing LT and transitioning into SV / JJJ leading the guard play along with Fulky blossoming during SEC play I’d say we were playing well above average late in the season. Makes sense in your situation. Streaming isn't a great option with crap internet.Depends, I never have to worry if I am or am not going to be able to watch a game. I live in the country and my TV selection has grown from antenna to satellite to DirecTV over my lifetime, I'm good with just having overpriced options I guess.
I'm currently watching the Steelers game without worry. I certainly understand the value of the other options I just have never had the desire to have to search 4 or 5 different services in order to watch a game of any kind.Makes sense in your situation. That being said, with YTTV, I dont have to worry about missing a game either.
Anyone who beats K-State by 18 has my attention. Colorado has a ton of experience. Top 6 has 4 seniors and 2 juniors.
I'd agree, I think last year's team overachieved a bit last season because of all they went through. Average teams don't win very often in Rupp Arena, hoping that changes this season as I'd love to see the kittens drop.Maybe the season record was average, but if you look deeper in light of losing LT and transitioning into SV / JJJ leading the guard play along with Fulky blossoming during SEC play I’d say we were playing well above average late in the season. The length and athleticism of our guards should be a problem for Wright. He is going to be defended by guys who are 6-4, 6-4, 6-5, and 6-6. I doubt he has seen that kind of length and athleticism, yet.Colorado has beat S Dakota 84-61 at home and Wright had 20 points &
Kansas State on the road 76 to 58 and Wright had 24 points
