We miss Cooper both because he gets things organized and because without him we lose Carvin at guard. RBs looked much better against BG than against a lesser opponent in TTU. The OL had about 8 guys who could play at the beginning of fall camp - but we are currently down two. Need to get Cooper back and have some guys make big strides.

How is this still such a problem? Is losing Cooper that big of a deal? These are mostly highly rated players that couldn’t dominate a bad FCS line. It’s frankly unreal how we can’t figure out our offensive line and QB situation for so long.
We lost 30+ players to transfer so we don't have depth. The drop off is going from scholarship players to walk on. As far as the running backs they have to break takles and make guys miss in the second and third level. They didn't do that against Tennessee tech which is a major concern. Florida is going to expose all of our weaknesses. The qb situation is a head scratcher I don't understand how we can't find a good qb

A few observations:
Kingston Harris has routinely been struggling on these lists.
Cade Mayes doesn't rank like the pro prospect he's been touted as.
Great to see Solomon here. Where has he been at all season? We need him.
Great to see Byron Young in the top names.
Roman may never be what we hoped he'd be.

We are really going to struggle to run the ball against FL.

It ain't the backs. Our OL is GARBAGE.

More like Spraggins is garbage. I saw him struggle with a TN Tech LB on that first drive on 4 and 1 and was like "Really? You struggling with a 6'0 225lb player from a FCS school and you're 6'3 330? Come on, dude.

Granted, Carvin hasn't been great either, but has been playing out of position, so I will cut him a bit of slack there.

Once Cooper gets back, I expect the OL to play considerably better. Crawford, Wright, and Mays have all looked pretty good so far and their PFF grades reflect that. But man, our depth is awful. Gotta get some big bodies in this years recruiting class, and preferably at least one transfer that can start right away.
