Strangely, I could give two ****s about how ruined the driver's life is.
not going to defend the girl or her actions, but I don't think it's unreasonable to feel a little sympathy for her. She will have to live with this mistake for the rest of her life. She will have to live with the knowledge and regret that she was behind the deaths of all these people, and the cause of so much pain for others due to her irresponsible actions. I'm sure most people in here have made terrible mistakes, and been lucky enough to not end up in the kind of situation she did. Looked the girl up on facebook, and there's already a number of people sharing her info/pictures blasting her. In this case, I'm keeping all involved in my thoughts and prayers.
I will add that I would not feel this way had she gone out with the intent to hurt/kill people. completely different scenario.
Outside of campus, Stillwater is full of ranchers, farmers, and gas and oil workers. Just really decent people. My daughter spent a good bit of her childhood barrel racing and working cattle with me. It was a great fit for her.Glad she is safe. My godson was an OSU grad, always have a soft spot in my heart for them.
Agreed, feel bad for all involved. I feel bad that she made this decision and now has to wake up to what she did. Her life is forever changed with this mistake.
Sorry but I hope a lot of her regret is reflected with a view of the world from behind bars. Several years to reflect upon her utterly stupid & deadly decision. We currently have a guy here in NC, bar hopped, drove, killed several people. Now showing remorse and looking to get out of it.
In this article the boyfriend suggests she is a diabetic:
