Tex A&M vs Miss State

Well since A&M has the deepest pockets in the SEC and has new revenue source with the league deal, you can keep thinking it’s silly. You’re perfectly entitled to your opinion. Even if it is silly.
Deepest pockets in the SEC or not, they do not view 90 million as pocket change.

What's funny is A&M can't fire Jimbo because his buyout is 95 million.

Maybe, but seems A&M has supplanted Auburn for top spot in the crazy coaching carousel in how much and how often they’ll pay insane buyouts. I mean, the Vols have their fair share of experience and hopefully that’s behind us, but I’m demented and want to see just exactly how much $$$ aTm is willing to part with to get Jimbo out of there. And f only Arky could’ve beaten them too!

Yep. I don’t think he will touch Mullen levels, but Starkville is best SEC school for him as that place is as wonky as he is.
I think he’s a better coach than Mullen……who should have never left that job. The pirate will build it to his max potential then move somewhere else and start over. The pirate seems to enjoy the build. Just my opinion

Florida and Tennessee were the two jobs he shoulda left for. The penn state, Oregon, Miami jobs never made sense.

I don’t see Leach taking MSU to number 1 ever or winning a division

Depends on how long he stays. Things can get real, really fast in life. Saban could….quit for whatever reason and the rest of the west just isn’t what it used to be.
The pirate is in a good spot and he should stay. I just don’t think he will.

I don't know if CML will leave State. My guess is he will build his legacy there.

Scratch what I just said....

Had no idea it was THAT bad.... smh....

Who agrees to include that in a contract? THAT'S the person who should be fired first.....

Actually, I think the AD who hired him at A&M is at LSU now isn't he? Same dude that hired BK.

That's how Jimbo got the $,95 million contract. He signed a $75 million contract and they tore that up after a few years and have him a new $95 million one. Absolute craziness.

The only one to ever do well enough to build a "legacy" at Miss State was Jackie Sherrill.
Honestly, I am not a MSU fan. I like CML because I was living in Texas when TTU beat UTx in Austin and I have been following CML ever since.

I can't say I agree that CML will leave MSU because he is bored. I guess only time will tell.

I could see him going to North Carolina when Mack Brown retires or West Virginia when Neil Brown is fired

Well, it's their money. If you correctly predicted that they pay it (or not) you get nothing. Not even respect.

I looked for this game on VOD but it's not there. I'd watch the whole thing if I get a chance.
