Texans to trade Carr and sign Plummer.....

He also had 9 games where he accounted for 0 touchdowns. Like I said his completion % was madly inflated by the short passing game. Rick Clausen could have functioned in their offense. They dumbed it down because Carr is gunshy. There's a reason he's on the trading block.

I wouldnt call 68% completion percentage nothing. 82.1 QB rating. If nothing else they beat the superbowl champs. Aguably he only had one horrible game last season, against NE.

He was pretty horrible against the Titans in a game too...he got benched because he was playing so poorly.

Carr has never had an O-line, but people thought it would toughen him up and make him better, but it has made him turn into a deer in the headlights in a lot of situations. He has never grown into the QB people kept saying he would. After 5 years, you have to deliver no matter how bad the team is. Dude has never averaged more than 7.58 yards per completion. He has had more turnovers than TDs in every year in the league. He had more INTs than TDs in 06. He had 16 fumbles this year. Need I say more? Noone can realistically say he is a good QB anymore. Of course, with that said, I have no clue why they want to sign Plummer to replace him. Plummer is just as much of a turnover machine as Carr.

Is it the Texans' fault for not developing him or was Carr overrated? That is the question. Some NFL people see him as serviceable and are willing to take a chance on him.

Plummer has worn out his welcome with both teams he played for.
