Ha. Ha. Ha.Am I embarrassed to be scrolling through texags after the loss? Absolutely not!

I imagine their NIL deals simply terminate if they transfer. How does that NIL work though? Did thy sign away any right for another school to offer NIL? Talking about current players.
Aggies frustration gif thread. These are fun even when it's you.

This would be my assumption as well. NIL cannot tie a kid to a school. In theory, the school has nothing to do with the NIL.I imagine their NIL deals simply terminate if they transfer.
I am guessing it is not allowed for the NIL to actually prohibit scholarship players from entering the portal.
There is no legal machinery they could use to stop them from doing anything allowed by the NCAA. Just stop the payments.
Yep. It's more like basketball where you have to build your resume. And just like basketball, bias will be present. All things being equal, I have to wonder if UT would get a fair shake/consideration if it came down to us vs Michigan, Clemson or some other "name" program. We're red hot at the moment and our fan base is rabid, but would that be enough to get the nod if the resumes were somewhat equal? I have my doubts. Only one sure way to get to the playoffs and we all know it. If we lose a game vs UGA, I think we're in trouble. If we lose to someone not named UGA, we're dead to the playoff selection committee. No matter what, this team has given the fans more than anyone could have dreamed possible. From this point on, UT is playing with house money in this fans opinion. Barring a total collapse the rest of the way, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed in what we've accomplished.Flame away lol. The reality of the situation is we need some of the teams we beat who are no longer ranked to become ranked by the end of the season for play-off purposes.
