this move was made a long time ago.

i think it will become clear once a&m is officially an independent or is accepted as a member of the sec.

i know that's a big "duh" type statement.

but, what i mean by that is there is/are other schools that may be on their way, but they did not want to take action until they were sure texas a&m has left.

no one wants to be hung out to dry in case everything fell through and the sec was not going to expand unless texas a&m was part of the expansion.
