The A&M OL is horrid. Decent run blocking. Horrible pass blocking.

The entire team lacks team speed. There’s a lot of speed coming in next year in their 2020 class. Ainias Smith is fast - the rest of the receivers are possession receivers.

All of the Sumlin recruits are not very good. Jimbo’s recruits (he really only has 1 full class) are really talented and played well this year. Spiller (RB), Smith (WR), Wydermeyer (TE), and Demani Richardson (S) played really well this year.

Here are the facts. 2 years in they are where they were 2 years ago.
The team that lost to Georgia st is WAY better than they were 2 years ago. Just like I expected they would be!

They lost to nothing but the top teams in the country and Fisher is overhauling the entire team. But yea, be biased and ignore pesky details.

Tell you what go to the A&M boards where you and the other aggies can sniff jimbo’s jock .
Come back when they actually do something worth talking about and you Bragg about it and rub it in my face instead of making excuses why they haven’t done nothing Sumlin didn’t do .

I gave you facts: pre season 12(AP) 11(coaches) finished 7-5 last year 9-4. That’s facts.
How many times you want me to post you facts.
Give me some facts to support your argument, not just your opinion that my facts are skewed.
You posted nothing but your pre conceived opinion of how great jumbo is and opinion of how good they are gonna be. Why because there is none! Recruiting rankings?? Means nothing! Butch Jones proved that! What else you got ? Nothing

Well I guess they do. Butch Jones should of been paid 5 mil a year more here at UT! Would of made that 0-8 sec record from the aftermath of his great recruiting rankings feel so much better!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You started it and acting like an Aggie when you made the “at least they didn’t lose to Georgia St” remark.
Take a shot at UT and Pruitt (who ,talking about overhauling the entire team, AND IMPROVED BOTH years) while praising Jimbo like he’s winning Superbowls (and well the record is what it is) sounds like more of an Aggie than a Vol.

I guess taking over an above average team and “rebuilding “ without embarrassing downfalls is impressive to you.
It’s expected by me. Now losing 3-4 games your favored in is a little disappointing to me and why I’m not blown away by what he’s done there to be honest, think they could of kept summlin and had the same results.
Now if in 2-3 years he has won the SEC and been in the playoffs then I will give him due credit

GVol, you have to look at who they lost to this year. Not really a bad loss on their schedule. Assuming one GaState-type crapping of the bed and Vols would not be bowl eligible if they'd played A&M's schedule. It was my understanding that Sumlin was fired not for a 7-win season but because his teams slowly but surely regressed in terms of competitiveness over a six-year period. You could argue that their pre-season ranking was justified because all of their losses were to teams that are ranked in the top 10 in the final regular season AP poll.

1. They have zero bad losses. Played 3 #1 teams. First time ever that’s been done. Also played #3 GA and #8 Auburn.
2. Our team is incredibly young. Played 2 seniors. Only 5 on entire roster. Played 30 rs freshmen and true freshmen. Their best players are freshmen. Spiller, Wydermeyer, Smith, Richardson, Leal - all fish. You don’t win in the SEC consistently against good teams with Fish. He’s doing a roster overhaul. Mond is our version of Guarantano (but not as good). We literally had 1 senior who was a difference maker, and he was our punter (Braden Mann).
3. Zero team speed. Smith (fish receiver) is fast - past that, our receivers are slow and inconsistent. Secondary played better this year, but get beat deep routinely. They are slow. Speed is coming next year.

FWIW, I’m an Aggie and of course a fan. I’d give Fisher a B- for this year. I think he’s stubborn in his play calling, and I wish he’d let our OC call the plays. The DC (Elko) is very good - our total defensive ranking was in the 20’s or 30’s - despite playing all the ranked teams, and getting our asses kicked by LSU.

So hypothetically, if we hired Urban, paid him $75 Million and in year 2 he goes 8-5 while duking it out to OSU in the Toilet Bowl-you’d be OK with that? Seriously
