Without them, the Vol programs men and women, would have little positives to cheer about or discuss tbh. Just saying.

What about a couple of guys named Robert Neyland and Phil Fulmer. National Championships are considered positives.

Pat and Peyton are great for starters.

However, as much as we all like and admire them, they are not the only people the Vol Nation can proud of. Besides the names already mentioned, I would like to add the late Reggie White, Ernie Grunfeld, Candice Parker, Condredge Holloway, Larry Seivers, Allen Houston, Todd Helton, Dale Jones, Bernard King, Jason Witten, Alan Cockrell, Doug Atkins, and Chris Lofton (just for a baker's dozen). Also, the Colquitt, Reveiz, Bartholomew and Majors families who produced great UT athletes.

Just pointing out how stupid the basis for this post is. The first year without Manning was better than anything Manning ever accomplished here.

You're absolutely right. That's why I listed all the players I could think of as quickly as I could without mentioning anyone already listed. Because there are so many great UT athletes, Peyton being one of the very best among them. But to some people, what you said is like ripping pages out of a Bible and wiping your feet with them.

Too bad for you that Peyton recruited all those players to UT. There would have never been a NC in 1998 without Peyton here the previous four years.
