Hiring Penny was one of a series of "flash bang" things Memphis has done over the years in various sports.

None of it works for more reasons than coaching.

Penny may do well in the NBA eventually, I don't know...... but it might happen, and I have no bad feelings for him, personally. Memphis is.....mismanaged..... as a University and that's being very polite.

Penny is on his 4th year and had one of the recruiting seasons in the country. Not sure what we are waiting on. If he can’t do it this year it’s not going to happen.
