Hook made several great throws that were just dropped, and a few that weren’t perfect, but certainly could have been caught. We aren’t a 9 win team right now with anyone else. Milton came in last week and did awesome, but then last night, looked to be the Milton of old.
There can be fingers pointed in many directions on that mess last night, but HH played well enough for us to win.
None of us expected that this season we would spend time ranked #1, have Gameday in Knoxville twice, have a legit Heisman candidate, and be upset that we may “only” win 10 games.
We should all do as hopefully our team will, turn the page. Vandy is going to be tough and we obviously have some work to do.
Thank you to Herndon Hooker for so much excitement this season and helping fast track the Volunteers back to national relevance.
Now let’s go beat the snot out of Vandy and get our 10 win season. Go Vols!

With Hooker’s knee looking like the issue and the possibility his season is over I just wanted to thank him for all the joy he brought us this season. Yes, he chokes on the road (sorry, he just does), but he got us wins over Florida and Bama and will always be a Vol for life in my book.

Hooker has done a great job and I hope he is ok. But, if Milton is the qb next year that is trouble. He played last night just as he did at the beginning of the year last year, threw high, overthrew, panicked like play. He has done well when there is no pressure in mop up duty, but he just doesn't have it.
