Merry Christmas to everyone. Agree with OP, this place really rallies around its own.......until you predict one of our commitments to flip on NSD, then all bets are off.

Thank you, Vol Nation. Thank you Freak along with all the other mods. I have been a member here since 2010 (actually earlier than that through another username, but forgot the username and password because I never posted before, just read), and I have enjoyed being able to come to this awesome community of sports fans every day.

I don't agree with what everyone has to say, and I know everyone doesn't agree with me, but that doesn't change the fact that a lot of different opinions and viewpoints can be acknowledged and taken in. And it's easy to learn something new all the time here. Whether it's topical news stories, controversial subjects ("Bring Phil Back!" For example), movie reviews, polls, funny stories, video game details or whatever, I'm always able to find something on this site. Truly, that HAS to be why fans of other teams frequent this site. It's such a huge testament to what has been built here.

It's the holiday season, and I wanted to let everyone know how thankful I am to be a part of this great congregation of posters and mods. The recent death of one of our members shows me how great this place really is. There are terrible stories of heinous crimes every day in the news, but there are still great people out there. So many people on here posted condolences and donated money to someone they didn't even know. That's just one more reason I'm glad to be a sports fan, and being a member of Vol Nation just makes it even better.

Call it brown-nosing, call it trying to get attention, call it whatever you want, but I felt like I needed to get that off my chest. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays y'all. And as always, GBMFO!
