The Black Eyed Peas get gigs like this all the time. They did some of the music before the Super Bowl last year (or the year before) and they were terrible live then. I've got nothing against a studio produced dance record, but if it is going live give me Earth Wind and Fire, Cool and the Gang or George Clinton.I think it's too much to ask to have people with actual talent perform at halftime of the Super Bowl. That was pretty much a train wreck last night. I still can't figure out what that really was exactly.
You find out who is studio made when they perform live. What happened to guitars and drums and people who can actually play them or read music for that matter?

Well, it was bad enough that they let the Black Eyed Peas appear live at halftime. Still can't believe they let them bastardize one of my top ten rock songs of all time.
I've seen bad auditions on American idol that are better than Fergie's live voice.
I had that same EW&F thought as I watched that train wreck! The Black Eyed Peas get gigs like this all the time.
