Well, it was bad enough that they let the Black Eyed Peas appear live at halftime. Still can't believe they let them bastardize one of my top ten rock songs of all time.

I've seen bad auditions on American idol that are better than Fergie's live voice.

I think it's too much to ask to have people with actual talent perform at halftime of the Super Bowl. That was pretty much a train wreck last night. I still can't figure out what that really was exactly.

You find out who is studio made when they perform live. What happened to guitars and drums and people who can actually play them or read music for that matter?

The Black Eyed Peas get gigs like this all the time. They did some of the music before the Super Bowl last year (or the year before) and they were terrible live then. I've got nothing against a studio produced dance record, but if it is going live give me Earth Wind and Fire, Cool and the Gang or George Clinton.

I thought Tom Petty and Prince both put on great live sets during their halftime shows, but they just aren't theatrical enough for the Super Bowl. Who would've ever thought that would've been said of Prince ten years ago?

I don't understand why you guys watch halftime show. they have less than 20 minutes to play, every year they suck but you guys keep watching them.

Tom Petty was amazing. He killed the halftime show. Purlple Rain was pretty BA as well with Prince

Last nights show was the best since the janet jackson thing even though the black eyed peas weren't that great. Prince was pretty good though.

Heck, I'm pretty sure THIS was better than Fergie's live voice...

I wouldn't be surprised if we get the Glee cast next year.

be careful what you wish for, Lea Michelle did perform "America the Beautiful" last night, so it's not too far out to suggest the Gleeksters will be getting a HT bid.

I was being serious, wouldn't be surprised at all.

That will be the next step, a halftime musical. Waiting for John Travolta to break out into some greased lightning or something.

The Who were great last year... I think they should have the Blue Man Group do it at some point.

Thankfully the Super Bowl isn't on Fox next year.

I'm for a Tupac/Elivs "both are really alive" comeback show. JMO, IMO

I had that same EW&F thought as I watched that train wreck!

Overall bust on the the half time show this year. Thank god I couldn't hear it all that well at the bar.
