So it's a bad thing that i don't want old artists that are no longer relevant playing halftime of the super bowl?

It looks like Wyoming had the largest percentage of people voting F, which is empirical evidence that the people of Wyoming have the best musical taste in the country.

I thought Tom Petty and Prince both put on great live sets during their halftime shows, but they just aren't theatrical enough for the Super Bowl. Who would've ever thought that would've been said of Prince ten years ago?
Tom Petty and the Who both, outstanding artists, all-time greats, but terrible at SB HT.

Prince was the only good show since the "wardrobe malfunction."

The NFL should let Rage Against the Machine perform one of these.
I can't help but feeling it would ruin the memory of two of the greatest live rock performances by any band ever:

YouTube - Rage Against The Machine - Democratic Convention 2000

YouTube - Rage Against The Machine - Testify (live Mexico City)

My vote would be for Gwar to perform next year.

Perfect.

Wait, better yet, New York Dolls.

Well, it was bad enough that they let the Black Eyed Peas appear live at halftime. Still can't believe they let them bastardize one of my top ten rock songs of all time.

I've seen bad auditions on American idol that are better than Fergie's live voice.

Everything about fergie turns my stomach. I turned back around half rime, saw her singing, and immediatly turned it back again.

I'll watch next year's Super Bowl if they have The Black Keys perform. Nobody else, though.

I've seen your posts in the movie & music forum

I don't like stuff just because its what's cool right now. I like a lot of different artists and form my own opinion.

I know you have solid taste in music, and SCOM is a solid song, but if it was in my top 10 I believe I'd take another look at my list.
