Papers required a draft submission and a revision; many papers, I included a card with the Campus Writing Lab information attached and a recommendation to visit before turning in their final paper. Out of 200 students, I received one paper not from an athlete that had been through the writing lab.

Grading based on quality isn't racist, it's required. Welcome to college: do the work or go work at Ward's.
