That's racist!

John Wayne is trending on twitter because of an interview he did for Playboy IN 1971!! 1971!!! People are offended because of a ****ing interview given in 1971. Every time I think people have reached their max capacity for saying, thinking or being offended over nothing that has no impact on their life they go and pull this.
Well I bet he doesn’t get another role ever again.

He is not calling the KKK to go after minorities. He's calling for them to go after socialist and communists.
Not racist by itself. I want the same. Invoking the KKK to do the work doesnt seem to be racially motivated. Very poor choice though. However, he did make national news....not bad for a small town newspaper man.
Sending in the KKK to combat socialized medicine. That's a bold move.

Thanks for informing us about the twittervers and how offended you are about it.

People on twitter get outraged at other people on twitter.

Maybe so, but why drudge up a Playboy interview from 1971? I read a few excerpts from the article and don’t agree with most of those things he said, but what’s the point of bringing it up? Why do people feel the need to offended by a guys views who was born in 1907 and doesn’t share the same progressive world views as of today? If the interview wasn’t brought back up would anybody’s life be any different? I don’t think it would be.

People were pulling out LBJ quotes from even earlier. They're cray cray.

I never read the articles.

Now Trevor Noah is a racist. All he does is talk about race race race. It's not funny, the ratings are terrible, and should be taken off the air soon. At least Jon Stewart could find common ground, but not Noah, and I'm sure it goes beyond just his input, but that show is straight garbage now.
Now it's straight garbage? It was from day one. There is nothing amusing about that racist POS at all.
