I honestly think Luther is a decent guy, I think he's skewed by his political prejudices like most of us are. I'm trying to appeal to the logical, which as a member of the teaching community I'm sure he values at some level. He's not a bad dude, I believe he knows that some of the foundation his political beliefs are built on are compromised. That's not a very comfortable feeling, I've been there.

Oh, I agree. I don't think luther is a bad guy. But luther's "logic" has been corrupted by his political prejudice. And unfortunately, he's unable to see that or acknowledge it. It gets pointed out, time and again, and he simply deflects with "continuums" and "degrees". Which is frustrating. But I agree with you, above all that, luther is a good guy.

When the failure of luther "logic" and willful ignorance gets clearly pointed out to him, instead of a "my bad", he deflects, repeats his absurdness, looks desperately for some support, and if, by chance, he finds a sliver of one in some post, clings to it like a life preserver then declares "thread over."

He's a despicable human being.

Yep..... and the NBA Washington Wizards will be changing the franchise name for the second time as The original name “Bullets” was too offensive.
I thought they had the best name in the league and best unis before they pussed out.
There are a lot of teams that will be experiencing this poonification

Do you look at ANYTHING and not see racism? I mean really, is there ANYTHING in this country that you look at other than your reflection in a mirror and not see racism? That nickname has been around FOREVER. The fact that you never heard it is indicative of your age PLUS the fact that people simply don't use that term as much anymore because it is offensive. But that's only if you have the wrong skin tone. If your skin tone is correct, it's never racist.
