Sounds like it was a mural approved by the city. Don't have to like it but sounds like they had the legal authority to paint it. It is absolutely vandalism to just paint over it because you don't like the message. Stupid to call it a hate crime thoughSo blatant vandalism is perfectly OK but painting over vandalism is a hate crime? FFS!

NYC Councilwoman Freaks Out Over White Man Holding Black Child
This innocent image of a man holding a child was the target of scorn by his fellow council members. Rachel Broshi told Wrocklage, โIt hurts people when they see a white man bouncing a brown baby on their lap and they donโt know the context. That is harmful.โ
Broshi, and several other council members, argued that the image of a white man holding a black child was inherently racist. When Wrocklage asked Broshi to explain why holding a friendโs nephew was racist merely due to their differing races, Broshi refused, yelling at Wrocklage, โRead a book. Read Ibram Kendi. Read โWhite Fragility.โ Read โHow to Talk to White People.โโ
Disgusting
Dont you have a 'White on White Crime' thread to maintain? What does one stunt from one Hispanic lawmaker have to do with actual racism? Nothing
If you think a minuscule amount of hoaxes means you don't believe the real victims then you must think black people never commit crimes versus white people. We have a million example of false accusations by white people.

Wow. So a hispanic guy writes himself a racist letter pretending to be from some evil racist White person and it has nothing to do with racism? Why is that K-town? Is it because he is not black? What does one stunt from one Hispanic lawmaker have to do with actual racism? Nothing
