Generally speaking, nope. Chinese laborers (in the Western US) and more of a mix of poor whites, Native Americans, and freed blacks (in the Eastern US). Imagine that...certain demographic segments getting their panties in a collective wad due to 'overrepresentation' of Asians. That doesn't really happen anymore, does it?

What did they build? Their labor was used on railroads and a lot of public works projects (canals, roads, public buildings e.g. the Capitol). And of course private buildings and the like.

Who knows? Maybe at the club playing tennis or in St Tropez, and not in New Orleans doing stupid stuff. There are a lot of wealthy people in poor countries. Of course there are more poor people.

Interesting racial stats of CPS principals: 44% black, 35% white, and 17% Latino. Also, 69% women.

Also interesting that apparently Benjamin Crump is the only attorney in the U.S. who will touch racial discrimination cases when the alleged victims are black. Omnipresence is his superpower.
