That's racist!

Bump @NashVol11. Care to comment?
Because she’s a great player. I think I’ve said that too. You making up a strawman position and asking me to “comment on it” is stupid and annoying, just read the thread with your eyes actually open next time. I’m a huge Clark fan, it’s hilarious to me that people are assuming her success is some “boo-yah” at me

Sorry I took up a position that was stupid and annoying. If we could all be as great as you. I guess I won't ask you to provide any tangible evidence to back up your argument that any of her success (popularity) is due to the fact that she is white. Next time don't say stupid s%*t on a message board if you don't want people to respond.

You have been “responding” to something no one said this entire time and then asking me to explain away the strawman you made up because you can’t read. Good talk lol. If you’re going to follow me around demanding attention and responses, then try learning to read first so as not to waste everyone’s time

No one is following you around. You say nonsense on a message board and you expect no one to call you out. You agreed with the notion that a major reason that Clark is popular is because she is white. That the "strawman" that you think is beneath you to explain? The article that you agreed with laid out facts from a study that showed Clark wasn't even in the top 5 of NIL deals from 23-24, yet two black female basketball players were. Clark's popularity is because she is good, and the style that she plays, to suggest it's influenced by her race, in my eyes is demeaning.

“You said she’s popular only because she’s white”
“No one said anything close to that”
“Oh yeah? Well name another reason that’s not her whiteness”
“…OK, because she’s a great player and a blast to watch. I am a huge fan of hers”
“Oh yeah? Well

Such a pointless conversation lol

They are talking about the number of deals, which is a weird measurement instead of looking at the dollar value of them. Clark was making the most money off of those deals of any player, as she should

I don't think it's demeaning to say it plays a role. That is a reality of the WNBA. Nearly all of the best players are Black other than Breanna Stewart, and all of the "most marketable" players are white. If anything that's a shot at how people cover and consume the WNBA, not at Caitlin Clark who is one of my favorite athletes on the planet

You agreed with a source that said her race played a MAJOR role in her popularity.

How does the dollar amount of Reese's contracts compare to Clarks?

She said it’s a “huge thing.” I think it’s a huge thing in the WNBA at large, I’m not sure I would go as far as “huge” for Clark specifically but I mostly agree with Wilson.

On3 used to post NIL valuations for them, but they’re pros now. The valuation was $1.8M for Reese and $3.1M for Clark, but those are estimates and many think Clark was making even more than that

It remains to be seen if she's a great pro, she's had an elite college career though.

I think she adjusts to the level of play and ends up a very good to great NBA player..... But I don't expect her to dominate like she did in college.

What’s the deal with this dude?

He believes in men and women being fruitful and multiplying. He believes that it is commendable for a woman to choose to stay at home and raise a family rather than pursue a career. He believes that traditional masculinity is a good and necessary attribute for a productive and happy society. He is basically saying all the stuff that until 15 minutes ago was completely normal.

Ah I see. Yea, they won’t like that.

Lmao, he went to a graduation with a bunch of women in the audience and told them their lives don't really start until they're homemakers with kids, in between ranting about Biden. Guy is getting clowned for a reason, especially when his mom is a physicist and he's a kicker

That's not what he said at all. My wife is pretty successful and agreed with him. I think more agree than you realize

Another interesting part is how quickly a league employing dozens of convicted domestic abusers, felons, murderers, etc released a statement distancing themselves from him.

Believe me...nobody here expects you to understand. Literally nobody. Ever. Your head is so far up your azz that you probably brush your teeth from the back side...

Do you believe the things you type or are you just trolling?

Lol. Gotta exaggerate what he said just to make it seem minimally controversial. Oh and don't forget the part where he got a huge standing ovation at the end of his speech from all those women in attendance.

The NFL suspended most of those people, nothing is going to happen to Butker at all

This stuff is weird as hell in a commencement speech lol, people are just cheerleading it because they agree
Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the Sign of the Cross during a pro- abortion rally. He has been so vocal in his support for the murder of innocent babies that I'm sure to many people it appears that you can be both Catholic and pro-choice.

He is not alone. From the man behind the COVID lockdowns to the people pushing dangerous gender ideologies onto the youth of America, they all have a glaring thing in common.
For the ladies present today, congratulations on an amazing accomplishment. You should be proud of all that you have achieved to this point in your young lives. I want to speak directly to you briefly because I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you. How many of you are sitting here now about to cross this stage and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career? Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.
