She's making a whopping $76,535 per year. While yes, that is plenty of money to live on, that isn't exactly a huge paycheck for an athlete of her caliber. She could make more in Europe.

Whats even crazier is that they were not, right? Japan brutally raped and destroyed China. Many times, it was Japanese soldiers with rifles and artillery against Chinese with pitchforks, sticks, and other farmers tools. Absolute slaughter. Mass graves. Lining entire villages up and exectuting them in front of trenches like the Germans did the Jews. The women and girls were brutally raped and then murdered. The Japs also did their scientific horrors on them testing poisons, weapons, dissecting living people to see exactly how much a man could take before dying...massive war crimes against their (much, much larger) next door neighbor. I will link the Rape of Nanking(or Nanjing Massacre) below...but I will warn you there is some graphic stuff on the web regarding this area/incident in particular. The crazy thing is the Chinese hate us and plot our destruction as we speak...but we bailed them out of WW2 just like the French when they were getting absolutely wrecked by Japan due to their country and technology being so much more advanced.

In the early 1920s, China had a burgeoning Communist party that cooperated with the Nationalists to prevent (feudal?) warlords from forming a central government. Then the Nationalists purged the Communists in the late 20s.
The Communists were purged from government, but still prevalent and had sway rurally. By the 1930's, they were both preoccupied with Japan.
We supported the Nationalists from the 30s, throughout WW2, and up until 1949 when the Communist PRC overthrew the Nationalists.

I wonder how China's PRC allows WW2 to be taught in school? I'd guess we're regarded as the lesser evil at best. Something tells me we aren't the good guys in their version.

Lots of Americans that are not Caucasian came out to vote for Trump. He would have lost without their support. People are tired of identity politics and fake outrage. Hopefully we can move on as a people.
