everybody in this game on both teams missed a million shots, nobody else but that bum had the opportunity to make an absolutely atrocious call when we were in perfect position to squeeze the life out the game

Much of the post/game analysis that I’ve read cites that play and the Barner having hold of Okpara’s shoulders with both hands as being the foul that should have been called.

Being jerked around by both shoulders, Okpara moved his feet to avoid being tossed onto the floor by the Barner. That’s something everyone would instinctively do. The foul by the Barner forced Okpara to travel. The call should have been on the Barner. Okpara’s shooting >68% from the free throw line. It would have changed the complexion of the game.
