UT was probably the most diverse thing around the entire region in the 1960s and 1970s. Back when they were actually focused on educating people. Graduate students from around the world were attending. There wasn’t a woke agenda. Now a lot of the clowns in charge are trying to generate hate.

I got my degree from UT 2001.. and there were some ‘woke’ classes then, but you had to go out of your way to take them because they were nowhere near any of the practical degrees lol.. If it stayed like that, I don’t really have a problem with that.. academia attracts weirdos that’s just the way it’s always been.. The weird professors never had in influence in my life, undergrad or grad (at another state school)..I just got my degrees and ran lol.. and it’s like I tell my kids, ‘you who you are, and you know what is right and what is wrong.. no matter what this crazy world tells you’
