Somebody will take a chance. It's just the way things are. If anything, as a DH/1B. I dont' see him being able to play solid D at 3rd base after a year and a half off adn just trying to come back from injury.

He wasn't much of a gamer in NY though. I remember a crazy stat from a few yrs ago. A very high % of his HRs were when the Yankees either had a big lead or they were losing by more than a few runs. The comparison was between him and Jeter. Jeter has been a clutch player year after year.
