The Seattle Mariners upgraded their team for contention purposes except their hitting hit the floor. As an end result, they let go of their hitting coach (Alan Cockrell) and promoted their AAA hitting coach to the club (Alonzo Powell); I remember that guy playing for the Expos at one point.

He just recently returned to the team and lineup.

When you thought everything was back to normal for him well his hammy is giving him trouble and he can be going back to the DL.
