Since there are 5 starting pitchers on the roster, and 3 relief pitchers..Are you allowed to draft only one closer?

Nope, but holds are allowed, so if you only get one closer while another player gets three dominant closers you won't be in a tough situation.

Can you set some slots for "swing", as far as having either starter or reliever? Not that it matters, really, as I'm pretty sure that you can put pitchers wherever, and get stat recognition for them.

At least it's head to head so people stocking up on fake stats like Holds will only get 1 win for it.

I might. I want to have just a 25 man roster. We already have twelve bats in the lineup everyday and eight pitchers. We have five bench guys. I never was a "swing" fan. I like having set slots because when you have things like WHIP, ERA, and K/BB ratio, you can just load up on great relievers.

Yeah, I see what you are working at, overall.

It's your league, not mine, but I would scale back the scoring to closer to the basic 5x5 as opposed to including random stats like GWRBI, errors, and K/BB ratio. Not trying to be a dick, but the basic categories are what they are because they make things playable.

When did you move to Meatchicken? Were you not holding it down in Tampa or Clearwater?

Taking a vacation out that way in a couple of weeks.

My girlfriend's mother is having some financial and health issues so we rented a house and relocated up here for a little bit. Enjoy your vacation, getting tired of mine...

I see...hope it all works out.

Any suggestions for family friendly fun? Already taking the boys to Disney.

Depends on how much time you have in Orlando, i would say hit up Universal Studios as well if you feel like throwing down for family passes for two different theme parks.
Are you specifically staying in Tampa or Clearwater? Because it's about a 30 minutes difference. If you are in Tampa i would say check out Lowrey Park Zoo, possibly Busch Gardens, the beer tasting tent is superb.
If you are more in the Clearwater area i would say just head to the beach to the round-a-bout, get out at Pier 60 and just start browsing. Tons of stuff to do. There is a Pirate Ship mini cruise, kids get to dress up and it takes you around the coast. Salt Rock Grille is good for a formal dining night. Frenchy's is good for just stopping in after being on the beach and grab a good grouper sandwich.

Thanks man, I think we are staying inbetween the two, staying at a friends house. He is getting us in Disney for free, not sure about Universal though.

Lowery Park Zoo will probably be a destination.

Would love to check out Busch Gardens, not sure having 5 kids under the age of 4 with you would be appropriate ( no, they are not all mine, just two ).

Gahlee--Do the BoSox have Spring Training there?

Ft. Myers, that is on the agenda, for me at least, going with a Cubs fan and my friend that is letting us stay is not really a baseball fan.

I would like to see them though.
