I'd go with Joeckel. Guy dominated in the SEC. Fisher dominated in the MAC.
I like Joeckel too, and your point is valid. I look at Joeckel and think Jake Long. I look at Fisher and think Joe Staley or Joe Thomas.

I think part of it is what happened to Peyton with the Heisman, number one has been solidified for so long that people are looking for someone else.

this is going to be one of most boring drafts in years...

Really? I think just the opposite. I believe there could be several first round trades and even the day of the draft no one is 100% sure who the first pick is, as opposed to last season when everyone knew weeks in advance who at least the first 3 picks were.

Agreed. I'm really looking forward to this draft.

Seems like SF may trade up to take Richardson or Star

That should be an interesting situation to watch between SF, NYJ, and Carolina. Carolina would be ok trading back if they can't get the player(s) they'd be happy with at 14, so they could trade with SF. But SF could swing a deal for the 13th pick with NYJ and take a player that Carolina had their eye on.

Or the Jets could do something crazy like trade the 9 and 13 for Jacksonville's 2 and 33. They've pulled some draft day headscratchers.

Figured the 49ers would be interested in a guy like Jesse Williams to shore up the middle of their 3-4 defense. That said I hope the Titans grab one of the guards in the first, I think this CB talk is just a smoke screen.

Mcshay said he's interested to see if Patterson will go in the 1st round, because what he's hearing from teams.

Can I get some help from my vol brethren? I'm unable to watch the draft and I doubt I have enough phone battery to sit on espn 24-7 and watch the whole thing so would some of y'all mind updating this thread each time a pick/trade is made? Thanks in advance! Hope my bengals don't crap the bed like usual!
