Russell Wilson may be out with a hamstring. I actually think Johnson could come in and look competent, which means Hackett will probably play Rypien. Either way, this could be totally humiliating for Russ if they come out and get 24 points without him.

Wtf Carolina!! GM should fire themselves after a trade like that.

It only makes sense because he's a RB. They gotta do a mini-rebuild and given his history and the position, he's likely not gonna be good/injured in 2 years (which is why the price was only 3 mid-round picks). They just saved $12m x 3 years so the owner is probably happy.

Don't worry. He'll probably be hurt by the time it's the playoffs.

Edit: it was 4 picks, not 3, and the pick I didn't know about was a 2nd rounder. Panthers won that trade already. 49ers may win, too.

I’m very surprised the (2-4) Jaguars are favored Vs a playing great (5-1) Giants team.
The Jaguars have a realistic chance to keep the game close, however I still expect the Giants to outplay them.
The Giants are playing great because they’ve won close games. The Jaguars are an underachieving team that has found ways to lose close games to a great Eagles team, an awful Texans team, etc.

The Jets have a realistic chance to win 4 consecutive games for the first time since 2015 if they defeat the Broncos in Denver today.

The struggling Packers and needing to rebound Cowboys have no excuse for not winning today since they are playing inferior teams.

Not surprising the Giants defeated the Jaguars 23-17 in an entertaining close game. The Jaguars found a new way to disappoint because multiple Giants defenders prevented a Jaguar from getting into the end zone.

The Giants did outplay the Jaguars in a close game.

The Jaguars are reliable to continue to find ways to lose close games this season.

The Giants are an entertaining great 6-1 team that has won close games.

The Jets defeated the Broncos 16-9 in a low scoring game.
The Jets remain undefeated on the road.
The Jets have won 4 consecutive games for the first time since 2015.

That was the last time the Jets had a winning season, and the same season the Jets failed to make the playoffs because they lost to a Mediocre Bills team.

The Chargers lost to a Seahawks team that has Geno Smith as the starting QB.
After 7 games the Seahawks are playing better than Brady and the Buccaneers.

I'm not a Chargers fan but they have to be the most disappointing team this year. Should have made the playoffs last year and this year, they're very mediocre. They should be contending for the division crown with KC. Staley is on borrowed time imo.

People's expectations were way too high, IMO. Chargers added some nice vets to a borderline playoff team, but Chargers might've had the best injury luck in the league last year, and they're not so lucky this year. Also, it's hard to shake off the stink that comes with regularly losing on bone-headed plays or coaching decisions.

Fields is 3-2 and averaging 20 ppg when he has 10+ carries. He is 3-11 with 15 ppg when he rushes 9 or fewer times.

I was very surprised the Bears steamrolled the Patriots 33-14 in New England.

I didn’t see the Bears winning that way if they did defeat a not great Patriots team.

The Bears are now 1-4 in New England.

The Bears ran roughshod on the Patriots defense because the Bears ran for more than 220 yards.

Fields played like Eagles QB Hurts since he ran for valuable yards to get first downs, and he did a terrific job throwing.

Also the Bears defense played great holding the Patriots to 14 points , and the Bears outplayed the Patriots.

It’s not surprising that Zappe got exposed by the Bears defense because he played terrific Vs 2 terrible teams.

An awful day for 2 Boston teams because my Bulls defeated the Celtics in a high scoring game in Chicago, and the Bears looked like Super Bowl Contenders when they steamrolled the Patriots 33-14 in New England on Monday Night Football.
Coach Belichick failed to get an historic win on Monday Night Football.

I don’t believe Coach Belichick’s explanation he was planning to play both QBs because I doubt Jones gets replaced if he doesn’t throw an interception on the Patriots third drive.

The Ravens Buccaneers TNF should be an entertaining game.
The Ravens have choked multiple leads this season so it wouldn’t be surprising if the Buccaneers won.

A low bar for the Buccaneers to score more than 3 points vs the Ravens which most likely happens.

I’m not surprised the Buccaneers had a good game offensively because they did score 22 points.

The Buccaneers found a new way to disappoint.
The Buccaneers lead the Ravens 10-3 at halftime.
Jackson continues to own Brady because Jackson outplayed Brady since the Ravens scored 3 touchdowns, and 1 field goal in the second half.

The Ravens defeated the Buccaneers 27-22 in an entertaining close game.

This is the 1st 3 game losing streak for Brady since 2002 when the Patriots missed the Playoffs.
I’m very confident saying 2022 is the season that Geno Smith has more wins than Tom Brady.
