The 2023 March Madness “Other Games” Thread

The fact that with a win tomorrow, Tennessee would be playing either FDU or FAU in the sweet sixteen at MSG is INSANE! Tomorrow’s game was already big enough but now the opportunity has increased itself.

Nothing else matters. We’ve already had those looking ahead matchups never happen (Loyola-Chicago). Just beat them Dookies!

interesting look at furman lineup in that there are no transfers, leaders are seniors with good balance among the recruiting classes. I use to keep up w/ FU during and after the Joe Williams tenure and had no idea how strong strong bothwell and jones' sratlines were, and that Pegues -- 12[ppg -- was from nashville. Sir Charles called this a game og men and boys, and he may be right,
Former JU basketball coach Joe Williams dies, led Dolphins to 1970 glory

Just my opinion....but I don't think he will coach again.
If Bob Huggins is still coaching with all the heart issues he’s had, I’d be shocked if Self hangs it up. For the sake of Kansas fans everywhere they better hope that he comes back. There’s no obvious candidate to replace him, even for one of the top 3-4 jobs in the country.

Off the subject but Vanderbilt playing Michigan in NIT today our old friends are giving Vandy a game but don't fret Vandy should win and some of you can keep on praising mule face stackhouse

Here's something, the number one bracket on the espn tournament challenge has us in the championship game against Gonzaga.
