IMO, MLB should have taken care of this by now. Not just for Arod's part, but all of it. Some of the guys reportedly implicated in all this are contributors on contending teams. With tomorrow being the trade deadline (non-waiver, I know), some of those clubs will be in a world of hurt with very little they can do about it.

If those players (maybe peralta, maybe cruz, etc) want to, they can probably appeal and hold it off for next season.
