I remember Mcbee having an open shot and Cam with a couple or three. I meant that Jordan had one early, but was pulling up with people in his face most of the game.
Off the top of my head, I don't recall that many open shots, outside of Cam with @ 3 or so, but I don't think they felt they had to guard him, tbh. You can tell it in your opponents face. Sometime you just guard him loosely and dare him to shoot, which makes him go into even more of a psychological funk.
When your guards can't knock down open 3's, it makes it hard to attack the middle of a 2-3 zone. Hard to coach shooting. You either can or you can't. Too bad for us, we have more "can'ts" than "cans"
Did anyone notice that on each and every time Kyle Macy questioned the official's call, he said that a poor call went against Alabama. One thing is for sure, unless you are Kentucky in the SEC, the home team nearly always gets the borderline calls. This game was no different, but Kyle could only see bad calls against Alabama.
We need to get together and purchase him the opponent's cheerleading skirt.
Hope to see more posters down to earth.... We would be a good NIT team, but not in the dance :hi:
I disagree. I actually think we would be a great team in the dance because of our defense. Problem is, we lost too many non-conf. games (AP, Oakland, Charleston) and a give me SEC road game (GA) that have basically killed our chances for getting in the big dance. Too bad though because I think this would be a great NCAA toruney team.
