I seriously doubt if Bill O'Brien even knows the names of his own players.

He just likes hanging around the showers to size things up.

He is also a lousy human being that will double cross your university at the drop of a hat. He makes Lane Kiffin look like a man of integrity in comparison. The Vols can't even have a big game without the goof chiming in with his two cents. Most coaches would be no comment after what went down, but not that idiot.


Is this what you want your players to see standing on the sidelines during a tight and close game? Even as a DC? He is the very reason I became Loservol!

What exactly are you referring to with this? It seems like you're trying to link BoB with the Sandusky issues at Penn State, but that doesn't make much sense.

He is, and not advocating for Pruitt, he just happens to be the subject in this investigation. As such, the NCAA is a joke and he and/or UT faces the possibility of a serious sanction or show cause for something they made legal the following year with NIL. At this point I even say give Reggie Bush his trophy back. NIL is just an avenue to re-direct Booster money kind of over the table. If you are going to continue this with Pruitt, then as an organization you have to go penalize the university of the kid that just recently said 150K was left for him in his dorm room, because that was also pre-NIL. Freeze had other conduct issues he violated in his contract, but as far as booster money and athlete payments, IMO NIL negates any outstanding or forthcoming punishments.

I’m sure the investigation at UT also showed where a lot of the bodies were buried with other programs as well lol… if I were the NCAA (ha) I would just let it all die down.. quietly close the investigation and keep Pruitt away from the SEC minimum of five to six years from now… UT could go scorched earth with the dirt they hav on other teams …after two and a half years you are going to have some dirt lol

It is interesting to me that the media is talking about this like it is unprecedented. Under Saban, Alabama has missed the playoff before (2019), had another year where a loss to Auburn kept them from winning the SEC/making the title game (2013), and had another year (2010) with 3 regular season losses where they were not a factor for the SEC or national title. Not counting Saban's first season.

I mean, it happens occasionally. You get over it and move on. I guess the fears are bigger this time because Saban is 71 and not 60 or 65?

Bama Bill O'Brian. Jerry Sandusky, Joe Paterno were all chummy until they got caught. Disappointed that the SEC allowed any of those three to join our ranks. Does Saban plan to add any additional perv's onto his staff? Already has Derek Dooley as backup shower monitor. Probably need a third guy...maybe Pee Wee from the Porky's movie.

I look at at like this: if Pruitt is allowed back near the SEC, then what he did was clearly not a big deal… therefore the NCAA needs to drop their investigation… (and give UT public apology for wasting everyone’s time for almost three years) lol they are in a pickle and Sankey et al can’t bail out precious Bama much longer and they know it 😂

I dont think you read your article.

"O'Brien is the first Penn State head coach who has no previous ties with the team to be appointed in the past 50 years."

The only link mentioned was they went to the same school, Brown 40 years apart, but it doesnt even suggest Obrien personally knew Paterno.
