The American Experiment is over

I used to have a goal to give away 100 copies of The Law but I gave up on it. Convincing even 20% of the population that directly taxing our own people is an affront to liberty is impossible, forget about 51%.
I wish more Americans would read this essay. It doesn’t take long to read and it goes right to the heart of why things are getting worse. We’re past the point of recovery.

If only we had been given some guidance on what not to from intelligent men when we first started this thing . 👀

Yeah, but they were kind of squishy on issues like slavery and women’s suffrage so anything else they wrote or said is invalid.

I believe some of the exact words involved avoiding “foreign entanglements “ and “central banking “.

The one that’s really interning to me is Washington’s beliefs about not only staying neutral to avoid sticking our noses in other countries business , but also not firming alliances with any of them . He was the OG Nationalist .

He ran the Country and let Jefferson handle any necessary foreign business. Had he kept his nose out of what people did with excess corn he could have truly been great. But instead his image has spent the last 40 or so years being stuffed in G Strings. Which I guess is not a bad consolation prize.

I'm sure most people don't care, but we're headed down the Roman path of destruction. I'm thinking Washington DC will one day in the future be the current day Rome. This assumption is based on the nuclear destruction headed our way.

Its just my opinion and possibly hypocritical ( need to think about it more ) but I’m going to give him a pass and say he was the greatest we’ve ever had only because he had the ability to make himself a king or anything he wanted and take all power, but turned away from it .

Nothing wrong with having him number one. Coolidge kept his promise to only serve one full term and was quoted as saying “it’s more important to not pass bad bills, then it is to pass good ones “. That’s among the reason he’s my favorite but I couldn’t say it makes him the best.

Can you imagine any of our presidents saying that now ? Some of these guys were just built different .

That's not nationalism. A nationalist would support sticking our noses in other's business, if it's in our interest. You're talking about non-interventionism and/or isolationism.

American eperiment? It now ditch nationalism for the sake of globalism. Finally a free and prosperous world of humanity overseen by a few non elected leaders that use their judicial scale.
