encourage a strong sense of individuality at an early age. teach that actions have consequences and that for every right there is responsibility.
Right, I think many do their part but the education system in this country does not follow this course of study. Many adults were taught and their children are taught that:
The Government and/or "wealthy" people owe them something.One's actions are more often than not the result of some kind if institutionalized oppression.
"Rights" mean one has the duty to do an absurd protest in the streets and insist that someone cut them a big piece of pie.
this is true in the extreme end, from what i have dealt with, however the problem is that how do you get these kids to stop believeing what there DA parent is telling them?
I don't have any ideas on this. Once a person has bought into a train of thought only they can have a rebirth. It is something they have to learn on their own.
Sadly, many will never have that chance because big brother keeps them in a constant cycle of bitterness and dependence.
