How so? Even Lebron, Bosh, and Wade took a while to learn how to play together efficiently. When you have always been the man, it takes a while to learn your role on a team, and those Kentucky guys wont be back for year 2.

Those guys are being paid max contracts, endorsement deals, etc. It's completely different.

See Kentucky '96.

This team, on paper, should be far superior on talent. The Fab Five would be more compareable, but still not to the level of this class. And, they didnt win a championship.

Its just hard for me to believe that many superstars can have good chemistry the first year, especially with what Kentucky has coming back. Dont get me wrong, I am jealous of all that talent.

I was talking about teams, not recruiting classes. Pitino in '96 did one of the best jobs I've ever seen in managing egos on a team that would send 9 players to the NBA. Cal will have a similar, if not more difficult job.

Agreed, but I dont think Cal has a history of managing egos. I understand he has had success at a high level, but I only remember two of his loaded squads being a good "team" (2012 & 2011). That includes all those rediculous teams he had at Memphis.

How do you start a thread and have the guys name wrong? Well, you are the same guy that talked about Kentucky being a 16 seed....

When you sign so many elite players, it's hard to keep the names straight....

LOL. A more difficult job? Egos?

These kids while looking great in high school and AAU ball have accomplished nothing at the college level. If egos end up being a problem only Cal will be to blame for not checking them at the door at the first practice of the season.

Which has been a problem with a lot of Cal's teams.

Not really...

Then why hasnt he won more championships? He has had more NBA talent on his teams in the last 10 years or so than anyone. What could Izzo, or Krzyzewski do with the teams he has had?

He has 1 championship. Either he sucks as a coach, or he cant control his players (as he would say "get them to buy in").
